What attracted fans to the actor was his perfectly built body with aesthetically muscular physique with veins popping. But stepping into his 70s, the actor is wondering what is going on with his body.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Feels Frustrated Of Ageing
Aging has been bothering the former Mr. Olympia, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Appearing on the recent The Howard Stern Show, the bodybuilding icon opened up about his body concerns.
The star confided on the show of how he looks into the mirror and smiles, saying ‘Yep, you suck”. The changes his body has gone through have really affected Schwarzenegger. He pointed out how he gets more and more out of shape as he gets older.
Many may not be able to relate to the icon as they have never been in shape. However, the actor is frustrated by it. “Look at this body. Look at the spectral muscles that used to be firm and perky and really powerful. Now they’re just hanging there.’ I mean, what the hell is going on here,” Schwarzenegger pointed out. The 76-year-old also talked of how he hadn’t expected this to happen to him when he was 30 or 40. “It just sucks,” he said frustrated.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Still Energetic As A 30-Year-Old
An open surgery at 50 has also dispirited Arnold Schwarzenegger. “That was the first time where I felt kind of vulnerable. Where all of a sudden the doctor says, ‘You shouldn’t lift that heavy anymore,’” the ‘Tell Recall’ star shared. However, the celebrity is not ready to let go of his enthusiasm. He added that he had the same energy, excitement, and enthusiasm as a 30-year-old.
The former bodybuilder was also talkative about how he and his generation embraced the discomfort and pain in order to grow. And that’s what keeps him going forward. “I keep my enthusiasm and excitement and that fire in my belly to keep climbing and climbing and climbing,” ‘The Terminator‘ actor said in the conversation.
