The ‘Euphoria’ Star, and the Emmy Award Winner, Zendaya got herself into a teeny-weeny kitchen accident on July 13. She is definitely far from being a cooking master since her injury was so severe that she had to get stitches.
The 25-year-old actress took to Instagram to update her followers on the accident. “See now … this why I don’t cook”, she joked on Instagram. She posted a picture of her injured finger which was heavily bandaged.

Zendaya Just Had Her “Baby’s First Stitches” Moment
The first story update was a picture of her just injured figure with the caption “See now … this is why I don’t cook.” The pointed bandaged finger didn’t look so serious until Zendaya uploaded a second story of getting her sliced finger stitched up by the doctor and the words ‘update’ written on the story.
Later the same day, Zendaya uploaded a selfie with her assistant, Darnell Appling. In the picture, Zendaya had raised her stitched finger in the air. The caption was, “Baby’s first stitches lol back to never cooking again.”

Zendaya’s Assistant Jokes About Her Injury
Darnell Appling had accompanied her to the doctor. He too took to his Instagram to joke about his boss slicing her finger with a sharp knife. He wrote, “Never a dull moment with @zendaya no pun intended. Dear God, help me keep this little heffa safe cause she clumsy as hell.”
It is not known what Zendaya was cooking at that time, or what led to this major disaster. The record-breaking actress may have been cooking a celebratory meal for getting nominated for four Emmy awards this year for all we know. Along with this, she also broke the record for the youngest female producer ever to be nominated at the awards show.
