Zoe Saldana Talks About Gamora’s Future
Zoe Saldana has played the role of Gamora in the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ as well as the ‘Avengers‘ franchise. She spilled some beans about the character’s future in a recent cover story interview for James Gunn with The Hollywood Reporter.
“I don’t think this is the end for the Guardians,” she said and added that she will be playing the role for the last time in Vol. 3. “It is the end for me, for Gamora.” Saldana also talked about how she supported Gunn who was fired by Marvel in 2018.
However, the director was later rehired to direct the final installment of the franchise. “I thanked James for just his time and his patience and his guidance and his friendship,” she said.

She Finds Marvel’s Secrecy “Annoying”
Marvel is known for being very strict with their secrecy policies as they don’t want their secret plot points revealed. However, Saldana is not a big fan of all this and doesn’t find it “cool.”
She took a dig at the studio lately by posting her picture on social media in Gamora makeup with a pile of bonded notes and scripts hidden with scribbles. “That [secrecy]can be annoying sometimes”, she said.
The actress further explained, “That’s not cool, because you have to memorize, you have to prepare, you have to do research. And I tend to take myself a little too seriously sometimes”.
