DC has seen many realities and multiple different worlds known as Elseworlds. It is an alternate planet where popular characters are brought forward. Among these multiple worlds, there is a reality where Batman becomes a vampire.
It sounds cool and epic, knowing that The Dark Knight possessed additional, but it was not a smooth ride. Starved for blood, Batman slowly slipped into madness, eventually giving into bloodlust. It is one of the darkest and most twisted realities of the world’s greatest detective.

This dark and horrifying tale was adapted into an animated film over a live-action. The Killing Joke terrifies its readers with dark and shocking stories, images like the dark origin of the Joker, the brutal shooting of Barbra Gordon, and the torture of her father.
The Killing Joke follows the feud between Joker, Commissioner Gordon, and Batman as the clown tortures and abuses Barbara Gordon in an attempt to break the Commissioner. However, this was not the only focus of the story as it also showed how Joe Kerr also became the Joker.
7. All-Star Batman And Robin
Over many years, Batman has served as a surrogate father to many Robins, sharing an amicable bond. Except for Jason or Damien, Batman had troublesome issues, but overall every Batman and Robin bond was adorably sweet. But the comic titled All-Star Batman And Robin penned by Frank Miller, uncovered a truly horrifying face of The Dark Knight. Miller portrayed Batman as an abusive and violent guardian to Robin, tormenting him to an extent that would even leave fans with a shudder.

Cults can make even the brightest of tales, horrifying. Despite the dystopian setting, the cult somehow makes the world of Batman disturbing and unsettling. In Batman: The Cult nefarious Deacon Blackfire arrived in Gotham, and it changed the place for the worse. After being Kidnapped by Blackfire, Batman was brainwashed and through the usage of graphic and terrifying imagery, The Dark Knight falls prey to Blackfire’s influence in a truly horrifying manner.

5. A Serious House On Serious Earth
Mental asylums are known to mortify people and in the comic world, Arkham Asylum is known to bring that effect amongst the readers. Arkham Asylum has become a place for the criminally insane and yet, none have truly dived into the dark depths of the asylum quite like the Grant Morrison story. A Serious House On Serious-Earth” is a truly disturbing take on Arkham and Bamtan’s rogue gallery. The story takes a deep dive into the likes of Joker and Two-Face that wouldn’t even go through the development process.
4. World of Flashpoint
Flashpoint is a world of possibilities that highlights a twisted and dark take on each character. As fun, as it is to see the Flashpoint world on big screens, it is scary to watch its take on Batman’s life. A Batman with guns or weapons does not sound as scary as what lies beneath the mask. After Bruce Wayne is killed, his father becomes Batman and his mother becomes the Joker. Even for a twisted tale, this is too much to take in.
3. Black Mirror
The title of Batman has been passed to different people from Bruce Wayne to Dick Grayson. But the one with Dick Grayson is a story that is as twisted as the Black Mirror. This particular story included a horror version of Joker, a monstrous dealer and psychotic James Gordon Jr as Black Mirror. For a live-action movie, Black Mirror is a tale full of dark themes, gruesome imagery, and horrific tones.
2. Death of the family
This is one of the best Batman stories, as Joker from New 52 manages to remains the fans about the death of Jason Todd. However, the actual story has never been seen. Death of the Family is filled with dark themes, grotesque imagery, and a twisted take on Batman and Joker’s relationship. As Joker sets out to destroy Batman’s, close relationships, it will be difficult for the fans to watch this torture on big screens.
1. Batman: Night Cries
Batman: Night Cries follow the Dark Night and Commissioner Gordon hunting down a serial abuser in the streets of Gotham. Unlike other comics, this one takes up a real-life issue, which makes it horrifying for the fans to watch it. The story ends on a tragic note when both men realize that they may never be able to break the vicious cycle of crimes that continues to occur in the privacy of people’s homes.
