In recent photos and videos of his latest project, ‘Man of Tomorrow’, Corenswet is back in his iconic role, seemingly in the same suit he debuted in 2025’s ‘Superman’. The object he seems to be carrying is still up for debate. However, the footage shows the Man of Steel flying and will likely be enhanced with visual effects during post-production.

It’s another sign for DC fans that the franchise is going full steam ahead. Although the movie is still over a year away, there have been plenty of production updates fueling speculation about what’s to come. One of the most surprising things about Man of Tomorrow is how Superman and Lex Luthor’s relationship has changed.

Earlier this week, director James Gunn revealed the first glimpse of Nicholas Hoult donning Lex’s iconic Warsuit, confirming that the legendary armor is finally coming to live-action DCU.

The thing that makes it interesting is that Gunn has already revealed that Superman will have to team up with Lex in order to take on an enemy. That threat will be in the form of one of Superman’s most dangerous villains, Brainiac, who will be played by Lars Eidinger.

It’s a very interesting arrangement. For decades, the rivalry between the two has been the focus of stories. So, a temporary alliance of the two could provide a new spin on one of comic book history’s most famous battles.

The film is also assembling a stellar cast of familiar DCU characters. Milly Alcock’s Supergirl is also confirmed to follow her introduction in Superman, as she has been gradually making her way into the franchise in the lead-up to her debut film.

Other heroes will also be joining the adventure, like Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced) and John Stewart (Aaron Pierre). Some of the returning cast members will feature Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) and Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo).

More reveals are likely to be coming soon, as cameras are still rolling and more outdoor filming is still to come. Until then, Corenswet’s newest take on the Man of Steel is another thrilling indication that James Gunn’s sprawling DC Universe is about to deliver one of its biggest stories ever.
