‘The Batman Part II’ just got even more exciting as director Matt Reeves posted a mysterious behind-the-scenes photo that teased off work on the sequel’s Batmobile.
The photo was simple, but Reeves’ caption, “#SnowTires,” was what got fans looking for a clue. And it’s not surprising.
Matt Reeves’ Batman Universe Could Finally Be Ready For Mister Freeze

Ever since Gotham was introduced as a rain-soaked and corrupted city in ‘The Batman’, fans have been wondering how Reeves will continue the style in the sequel. If the city is blanketed in snow, it could make Gotham feel even more isolated, dangerous, and gothic than it already is.

The most obvious theory, of course, is the possibility of Mister Freeze’s arrival. Mister Freeze may finally be coming to Gotham in Batman 2’s Winter Theme. The images were later confirmed by Reeves to be related to ‘The Batman Part II’, and that was enough to get speculations going.
The timing is particularly intriguing, since ‘The Penguin’ concluded in winter. Now, the sequel is set to follow straight on from the HBO show. That detail matters. Gotham was already looking pretty bad in Reeves’ debut. The snow and cold temperatures would be the ideal setting for Victor Fries to come out.
For years, fans have wanted a darker, more emotional Mister Freeze, particularly after his more exaggerated live-action appearances in the past. As of yet, no one has officially been cast as Freeze, and Warner Bros. hasn’t officially confirmed the identity of the main villain in the sequel. Still, Reeves’ reaction says otherwise.
‘The Batman 2’s Cast Is Quietly Becoming Huge

The details of the plot are still very close to the chest. However, the sequel’s cast continues to expand in intriguing ways. Robert Pattinson is returning as Bruce Wayne alongside Colin Farrell as Penguin and Barry Keoghan as Joker.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan have also joined the film in undisclosed roles, while Stan is speculated to play Harvey Dent. Charles Dance is also reportedly on board as Harvey’s father.
The filming started in June, and more is expected to be released soon. However, Reeves has already done something significant: He’s brought a sense of mystery back to Gotham. And it’s a very good sign for Batman fans.
