With ‘Superman: Legacy‘ under development, every update of the film being released has only obscured the minds of the fans. Unable to extrapolate what exactly James Gunn and Peter Safran are willing to bring out in the renewed DCEU. One of the shocking updates was Superman is not the only superhero in the DC’s newest version, instead, Clark Kent will have to share the spotlight with many other superheroes as well.
Gunn introduced the world to David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan as the new Superman and Lois Lane. But joining them are many other characters, a few from the old DCEU leaving the fans to contemplate the course of ‘Superman: Legacy’. Among many, will Justice League join James Gunn’s refurbished ‘Superman: Legacy’?

Will The Justice League Appear In ‘Superman: Legacy’?
As per the earlier reports, ‘Superman: Legacy‘ will not be an origin story, as it will focus on the early life of Clark Kent working at the Daily Planet, a new organization alongside Lois and Jimmy Olsen. However, the film will feature the Justice League, but not the one everyone expects to be. The other superheroes include Nathan Fillion as the Guy Gardner version of Green Lantern, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho hinting towards the formation of a new team.
But it turns out, James Gunn might continue the plan of replacing the Justice League with the Justice Society of America. In the comics, Mister Terrific served as the JSA’s chairman along with Michael Holt. Meanwhile, Hawkgirl has been tied to both Justice Society and Justice League in the comics. On the other hand, Metamorpho and Guy Gardner are related only to the Justice League.

Who Else Will Be A Part Of Justice League In ‘Superman: Legacy’?
It is no secret that 2017’s Justice League failed to impress the fans as it was expected to be. Studio’s new strategy for its universe including the arrival of the Justice Society of America in 2022’s ‘Black Adam’ did not do any good. Despite Henry Cavill‘s cameo as Superman in that movie’s post-credits scene, it seemed like DC’s plan was to divert away from the Justice League. However in the post-credit scene of ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ the hero was recruited to join the JSA by Emilia Harcourt from Pacemaker and John Economos was teased.
While the Justice League and Justice Society characters undergo the current DC transitions there are few possibilities of heroes that might appear in ‘Superman: Legacy’. Phantom Girl and Plastic Man have a connection to Superman like Martian Manhunter and Supergirl might make an appearance as part of ‘Superman: Legacy’s’ potential superhero team.
