What Was The Canceled Ending of ‘The Flash’?
One of the biggest endings for ‘The Flash‘ would have been the return of George Clooney. James Gunn and Peter Safran decided on a long shot to bring back his Batman. But it has now been confirmed that Clooney will make an appearance in one of the three movies in Gunn’s phase one – Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
‘The Flash‘ is the first movie in the resetting of the DC universe. The ending of Ezra Miller’s Flash indicates that he could not correct the timeline completely. One of the endings saw Supergirl and Keaton’s Batman appear on the courthouse steps. This ending was shot by DC and set photos were also revealed. However, another ending that was thought of but not shot at the end included Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, and Michael Keaton in one scene.
This particular ending would have seen Cavill’s Superman and Gadot’s Wonder Woman with Supergirl and Keaton’s Batman in one scene at the end of the movie. However, with numerous changes happening in DC and Henry Cavill’s future still uncertain, this idea was scrapped. But it is certain that fans missed a big one with this decision.

‘The Flash‘ focuses on Barry Allen. Also known as the superhero Flash, he travels back in time to prevent his mother’s death. But his actions also change the events of the past and alter the future.
Barry finds himself trapped in an alternate reality where General Zod has returned. So he enlists the help of his younger self, an older Batman and Supergirl to save the universe and stop Zod.
Starring Ezra Miller, ‘The Flash‘ was released on 16 June. The movie did not reach the expectations on its first day at the box office. It made only $55 million on day one. But fans are still hopeful for the success of the movies.
