James Gunn Address The Rumors About Nightwing’s Appearance

Dick Grayson (right) to pop in 'The Batman' sequel ?

As the production of ‘The Batman Part II’ is all set to begin with the release date set in 2025, rumors have filled the media regarding the film’s cast and now James Gunn’s sole priority is to debunk it. Before Robin, Dick Grayson was Batman’s sidekick and then he went on to become the Nightwing.

However, in a recent post, James Gunn confirmed Nightwing will not appear in the Batman sequel. Along with that, there are other rumors Gunn addressed, especially regarding the villains of the film.

One of the rumors started by The Playblend is that Professor Pyg and Scarecrow will join Clayface, Dick Grayson, and Hush as the prominent characters in the ‘Batman‘ sequel. The rumors were based on a scoop from Daniel RPK claiming that Professor Pyg, Clayface, and Scarecrow will be villains in the upcoming sequel.

In March, Deadline first reported that Clayface would play a notable role in ‘The Batman 2’. However, James Gunn responded to these rumors by commenting “Nope. Totally made up.” It is unclear what Gunn is planning with the sequel of Batman, but it is going to be no less than interesting.
