In a recent Threads post, Gunn hinted at the possibility of more Guardians of the Galaxy actors joining the DCU. When asked about which characters he would cast his former collaborators in, Gunn responded cryptically, “Well that would be a spoiler wouldn’t it?” This tease has fueled speculation and further ignited fans’ hopes for a Guardians reunion in the DCU.

Additionally, Sean Gunn, who played Weasel and Rocket Raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy films, is already confirmed to be part of the DCU. However, this wasn’t enough to satisfy fans. People have been wanting other members of the guardians to make the crossover.

Moreover, Chris Pratt, who portrays Starlord in GOTG, has been a popular choice for the role of Booster Gold. Additionally, Dave Bautista and Hugo Strange have also been suggested for potential roles. While Gunn’s response was evasive, it certainly didn’t rule out the possibility of a Guardians crossover. In fact, it could be seen as a subtle confirmation that such a reunion is being considered.

Chris Pratt and Pom Klementieff, both members of the Guardians of the Galaxy cast, have expressed interest in joining the DCU. In an interview with ComicBook, Pratt suggested that he could potentially appear in both the MCU and the DCU.

“Well, it probably makes more sense that I would be Star-Lord again,” Pratt said. “But anything is possible, and especially with James over at DC. Maybe there’s something that would be right over there. Maybe both. How about both? Let’s do both. I think it’s 100% both,” he added.

Additionally, Klementieff, who has worked closely with James Gunn on multiple projects, has also expressed a desire to continue collaborating with him in the DCU. At the San Antonio Superhero Comic Con, the actress was asked about the character she would want to play in the DCU.

However, she did not give up any details but revealed that she was talking to Gunn. The actress vaguely stated that it was “one specific character.” “I just want to keep working with James, so we’re going to keep trying to find ways to do that,” she added. Moreover, it’s safe to say that the prospect of a Guardians of the Galaxy reunion in the DCU is incredibly exciting.
