Batman Relies On Tactics, Superman Believes In Power

Superman

Man of Steel is invincible and with his superhuman powers, any human does not stand a chance. But again not power is everything! Meanwhile, Batman adopts a tactical approach while facing his enemies. Batman also has a contingency plan because he is aware that Superman can destroy him just in seconds.

Batman a mortal human with no superpowers is highly trained in hand-to-hand combat and skilled detective. Batman Hides His Emotions, Superman Is Very Caring

Batman

If anything that can make a superhero weak are emotions. Batman though follows the no-kill rule very seriously he makes sure that his emotions don’t not hinder his judgment. And this is one of the many reasons why he can’t trust the members of the Justice League. He believes that emotions can make one weak and might endanger the whole plan.

On the other hand, Superman does not believe in hiding emotions. He is the most optimistic, gentle, and caring superhero of the DC Universe. Because of this, it makes it a little difficult for Superman to work spontaneously since he has a lot to lose.

Meanwhile, Batman has nothing to lose, hence that makes him a badass and rogue superhero. Even though Superman has power, he still lets emotions take charge, which is why he loses half the battle against Batman.

Batman Has Kryptonite

Superman almost killed Batman

The only element that can kill Superman is kryptonite, which Batman always keeps in his utility belt. In the 80s Dark Knight issue, Batman uses a Kryptonite cannonball to weaken Superman and successfully beats him, becoming the only human to ever win against a superhuman. When exposed to the green kryptonite, the Man of Steel becomes as vulnerable as any human on Earth.

Kryptonite affects Superman by interfering with his cells and their ability to metabolize solar radiation. Thus, it makes him weaker due to the inability of his cells to process the radiation necessary to give him his superpowers. Also in many instances, Batman only used his superior knowledge to defeat Superman with no kryptonite involved. Somewhere Superman had still not discovered Batman’s weakness making it impossible to let him down without a nail-biting fight.
