2022 was a very tumultuous year for Johnny Depp, particularly because of the Depp-Amber Heard defamation case. Depp won the suit and was given $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages from Heard.
However, it seems that the ‘Pirates of the Carribean‘ star hasn’t changed his old behavior. It was recently reported that he got into an argument and eventually screamed at the director of his film ‘Jeanne du Barry‘. Let’s find out in detail about this entire ordeal.

Johnny Depp Got Into Arguments On Set
It seems that Depp has not learned anything from his trial and is repeating his problematic on-set behavior. A recent report suggests that he got into an argument with his director.
According to Daily Beast, Depp reportedly screamed at the director of ‘Jeanne du Barry‘ (‘La Favorite‘) where he plays Louis XV. The actor was rude toward Maiwenn Le Besco.
Actor Bernard Montial talked about these rumors at a French talk show ‘Touche pas a mon poste!‘ (Don’t touch my TV set!) in October. He said that Depp clashed with the director throughout the shooting.
He said, “I’ve heard some noise from the shoot, very serious stuff. So, [Depp is] an excellent actor, when he comes on set, except sometimes at six in the morning the crew is ready, and nobody turns up.” Montial said that the next morning Depp showed up but the director didn’t. “It’s finished, over this week, [but] it’s going very, very badly. They don’t get on at all; they’re screaming at each other the whole time.”

Amber Heard To Pay $1 Million To Depp For Legal Settlement
Recently, Heard said that she will be paying Depp $1 million to settle their long legal battle. The amount is a reduction from the original $8.35 million she was ordered to pay by the jury during the trial.
She will pay the amount from her insurance carrier. The legal team of Depp had earlier said that he will be donating the money to charity. They said for him, the case was “never about the money”.
His attorneys Benjamin Chew and Camille Vasquez also issued a statement. “We are pleased to formally close the door on this painful chapter for Mr. Depp, who made clear throughout this process that his priority was about bringing the truth to light”.
