Emma Heming Willis Shares Her And Bruce Willis’ Wedding Vow Video
Bruce Willis was diagnosed with aphasia last year, a condition that directly impacts our way of communication. This forced him to retire from acting. However, things were to get worse as this year, it transformed into something else.
Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Since then, his wife Emma Heming Willis has been taking care of him. According to Page Six, Emma recently shared a video montage on Instagram of their vow renewal. The two tied the knot in 2009 and did the vow renewal in 2019. “On our 10th wedding anniversary we decided to renew our vows in the same place we said ‘I do’ back in 2009. I’m so happy we did,” she wrote.
She further wrote in the caption: “Seize every opportunity to unite and celebrate with family and friends. Those are the moments and beautiful pockets of memories that you get to hold on to for a lifetime. And we get to keep those memories safe and alive for the ones that might not be able to.”
The footage was captured by Willis’ ex-Demi Moore. Willis recently celebrated his first birthday since the dementia diagnosis.
Emma Asked The Paps Not To Disturb Him
Earlier this month, Bruce was seen roaming around for the first time since his diagnosis. He had gone to meet his friends for coffee in Santa Monica and was chased by the paparazzi.
In response, Emma released a video on Instagram to urge the paps not to disturb him. “If you are someone who is looking after someone with dementia, you know how difficult and stressful it can be to get someone out into the world and to navigate them safely, even just to get a cup of coffee,” she said.
She asked them to respect his space and not yell at him, emphasizing the fact that he shouldn’t be troubled traveling from point A to point B.
