The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards is creating a lot of buzz and excitement already. It is mainly because the past two years went dull due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This year’s lineup of nominations is already out. Most of them were fan favorites, while some of the noms were a bit unexpected.
Now, the 2022 Emmy Awards have revealed the winners in a lot of juried categories. It includes animation, costume, hairstyling, makeup, and motion design. Netflix’s ‘Arcane’ scored big in the animation category, while NBC musical ‘Annie Live!’ and Apple TV+’s ‘Home After Dark’ also won awards in different categories.

Some Juried Winners for 2022 Emmys
The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards has unveiled winners in a number of juried categories like animation, costume, hairstyling, and makeup.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the popular Netflix animated show ‘Arcane‘ won three awards in the animation category. NBC musical ‘Annie Live!’ won in the outstanding hairstyling for a variety, nonfiction, or reality program. The award for outstanding motion design went to Apple TV+’s ‘Home After Dark’.
These awards will be presented at the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September three and four at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
‘The House’, ‘Love, Death + Robots’ and ‘The Boys Presents: Diabolical‘ also won in the Outstanding Individual Achievement in the Animation category. ‘We’re Here’ bagged the award in the costume category while ‘Legendary’ and ‘We’re Here’ took home the Makeup category award.
74th Primetime Emmy Awards Nominees
The nominations for the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced last month. ‘Euphoria’ received 16 nominations in total while ‘The White Lotus’ received 20.
HBO’s ‘Succession’ is leading the game with 25 nominations while Apple TV+’s comedy ‘Ted Lasso’ earned 20 nods in different categories.
Sweeney Sydney received two nominations while her co-star Zendaya also earned a nomination. Zendaya has created history by becoming the youngest two-time acting nominee at the age of 25. She is also the youngest woman to be nominated for producing a show.
Another show that made history is Netflix’s Korean drama ‘Squid Games,’ with 14 nominations in many of the top categories. It became the first non-English show to be nominated for Outstanding Drama Series and was also nominated for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and guest actress.
Some of the nominations like ‘Ted Lasso‘ was expected as it has been a fan favorite and light-hearted show.
