Miriam Margolyes has been active in the industry for the longest time. After starting out with the theatre, she transitioned successfully into films and has been a part of several popular films over the years.
The British-Australian actress recently claimed that Arnold Schwarzenegger deliberately farted in her face while filming the 1999 horror film ‘End of Days.’

Did Arnold Schwarzenegger Deliberately Fart On Miriam’s Face?
The actress, who is 81-year-old now, has claimed that the ‘Terminator’ star deliberately passed gas in her face. She talked about the incident on the latest installment of the ‘I’ve Got News for You‘ podcast.
Miriam, who has starred as Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter film series, also claimed that Arnold “was actually quite rude” during the shoot of the 1999 horror flick ‘End of Days.’
The BAFTA-winning actress dropped the truth bomb after she was asked to reveal her least favorite co-star of all time. She said, “[I] didn’t care for him; he’s a bit too full of himself.”
Miriam then continued about the former California governor. “He farted in my face. Now, I fart, of course I do – but I don’t fart in people’s faces. He did it deliberately, right in my face.” She further added, “I was playing Satan’s sister, and he was killing me, so he had me in a position where I couldn’t escape and lying on the floor. And he just farted. It wasn’t on film, it was in one of the pauses, but I haven’t forgiven him for it.”
The incident is surely bad on Arnold’s part and if it is true, he should apologize to Miriam for behaving in such a way.
Miriam Margolyes Calls Leonardo DiCaprio “Smelly”
Miriam had earlier made headlines after she labeled her former co-star Leonardo DiCaprio as “smelly.” The two worked together on the 1996 film ‘Romeo + Juliet.’ She played the role of a nurse in the film.
The actress clearly was not in awe of Leonardo’s looks as she talked about his personal hygiene and how she was unimpressed by him. She said he was “a touch stinky because it was really hot in Mexico and young lads don’t make themselves fragrant, they don’t wash all the parts.”
“I mean he looked gorgeous back then, but he didn’t necessarily smell so great”, she added after the show’s host mentioned that she went shopping with him.
