Christina Applegate has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. A recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award, she has acted in several films and shows like ‘Married… with Children’, ‘Jesse’ as well as the 1991 flick ‘Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead.’
After she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021, the 51-year-old actress’ life completely changed. She attend the recently held SAG Awards 2023, calling it the last awards show she is ever going to attend. It’s really sad to know that to be honest for her fans.

Christina Applegate Made Her Last Award Show Appearance
Christina Applegate has gone through a lot in the past few years. The actress was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in August 2021 and that has changed her life drastically.
On Sunday, at the SAG Awards 2023, Applegate made an appearance that she calls her “last awards show as an actor”. She walked the red carpet in a suit-inspired black gown along with her cane that read “FU MS.”
She was accompanied by her 12-year-old daughter, Sadie Grace. “It’s my last awards show as an actor probably, so it’s kind of a big deal,” she said. “Right now, I couldn’t imagine getting up at 5 a.m. and spending 12 to 14 hours on a set,” Applegate added. “I don’t have that in me at this moment.”

Applegate Was Nominated For Outstanding Performance Award
The actress was nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in the ceremony. It was for her performance in the popular Netflix comedy series ‘Dead to Me.’
Applegate said that though she is taking a break from acting, she will continue to do voice-over roles for money. “Doing a shit ton of voice-overs to make some cash to make sure that my daughter’s fed and we’re homed,” she explained.
Earlier, the actress had to take a break from shooting the third season of the Netflix series after the diagnosis came out. She resumed filming after undergoing treatment. Last year, she appeared on the Hollywood Walk of Fame barefoot.
