Brian Cox has received a lot of praise for his role as billionaire Logan Roy in HBO’s successful television series ‘Succession.’ It also stars Jeremy Strong as Kendall Roy.

Cox has been vocal about Strong’s method acting on the show but now he has gone all out. In a cover story interview for ‘Town & Country’ magazine, Cox said: “Oh, it’s fucking annoying. Don’t get me going on it.”

He continued, “He’s a very good actor,” but added that “knowing a character and what the character does is only part of the skill set. He’s still that guy, because he feels if he went somewhere else he’d lose it,” Cox explains.

But he won’t! Strong is talented. He’s fucking gifted. When you’ve got the gift, celebrate the gift. Go back to your trailer and have a hit of marijuana, you know?

However, Brian Cox believes that the series should not overstay its welcome. He said that he does not know if there will be a fifth season as no one has had their contract renewed.

“We don’t want it to overstay its welcome, like ‘Billions’; that’s past its sell-by dateThat will not happen with our show,” Cox said. He was referencing the series ‘Billions’ which has been renewed for a seventh season.
