Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino have stated that they want the final season of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ to “stick the landing.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amy wrote a letter to the team of the series to bid farewell.

She said that creating the final season was “our last chance to give our girl the send-off she deserves.” “This show has been so much more than a job or even a creative adventure,” Amy wrote in the letter.

It became my world. I woke up in this world, and I went to sleep in this world. I viewed everything around me in Technicolor,” Amy stated in her heartfelt letter ahead of the final season’s premiere.

The show has been going on for six years and has depicted an interesting arc of its major characters including Midge Maisel. Its creators must have realized that it’s better to end at their peak before the story overstays its welcome.

Amy also stated that while they never planned for five seasons, she always had an ending in mind. She initially only wanted two seasons for the show and wanted to build on that if it succeeded.

All Dan and I wanted to do was stick the landing for these actors who have given so much of their creative treasure to this show,” she wrote. We will have to wait until April 14 to realize how the story will conclude.
