‘The Walking Dead’ Closure
The final episode of ‘The Walking Dead’ has tried to finally bring an ending to the whole narrative of trying to transform the universe. “Rest In Peace” as the final episode was named, not only showed the evolution of the walkers but also tried to bring a deeper thematic element.
The show began with the collapse of the world as we know it, followed by a series of explorations and ways of survival. Comparing the number of lives lost, more horrifying was seeing the depravity of the people who tried to survive. What’s ironic is that “the walking dead” resulted in referring to not only the zombies but also the humans.
