‘One Piece’ world is often found playing hide and seek or the game of tag between the Marines and the pirates. One party often tries to flee to avoid unnecessary confrontation, while the other (Marines) pursues. Mysteries are a part of the being, as we see since the popping up of Will of D., the Poneglyph, the Void Century, the Ohara extinction, and many more. There are dozens of developments with the World Government behind them.
One of the most exciting turnovers was the appearance of JoyBoy. As we have seen Gold D. Rogers wore the straw hat, but maybe before he did, someone passed it onto him, just like Shanks did to Luffy. The recent talk about JoyBoy is always accompanied by the Straw Hat. He’s an essential existence whose connections can be found down to the Ancient Weapons of the series.

The Three Ancient Weapons In ‘One Piece’
1. Uranus
The Uranus, Poseidon, and the Pluton are the three major Ancient Weapons capable of trembling the ‘One Piece’ world. Named after the gods because of their destructive power, these weapons can eradicate islands. The existence of the weapons is linked to the Void Century, Poneglyphs, and JoyBoy.
The government has been wary of its existence. They even banned research of this century, until Luffy shows up and rattles things to the core. Among the three weapons, Uranus is the least uncovered till now. There have only been guesses regarding its link, the most prominent being Momonosuke of the Wano Kingdom. As the show continues we are sure to uncover more about it.
2. Pluton
Pluton was the first weapon to be introduced in the series. It is revealed about its existence by Robin during the Alabasta Arc where Crocodile was seeking to attain it. We once again come across the weapon during the Wano Arc. Pluton is a powerful warship that has the capability to destroy an entire island. It was built at Water 7 and its blueprint was thereafter passed down to the shipwrights.
As it was revealed, Franky had the blueprints of the ship until he decided to burn it to asses. The blueprint was an essential item that was kept to prevent the ship from falling into the wrong hands. However, there have been conjectures that Franky built Thousand Sunny incorporating the designs of Pluton. If that were true, it would be a sad outcome. It’ll go against Franky’s honest nature. We can only wait to see the actual revelation of things.

3. Poseidon
The only weapon that has been fully uncovered and explained is Poseidon. Luffy‘s meeting with the mermaid princess was no coincidence but fate. Shirahoshi is the ancient weapon of Poseidon who holds the power to summon gigantic sea kings and move the large ship, Noah. Shirahoshi formed a deep connection with Luffy and the Straw Hats.
Undoubtedly she’ll definitely become one of the vital supports of the future King of Pirates. JoyBoy’s promise to all the three ancient weapons, and Luffy’s meeting and forming bonds with them are the key to the whole mystery of One Piece. It is also essential to note that the ancient weapons are not necessarily items themselves, but can also be in the form of humans.
What Luffy does and how these weapons threaten the world is yet to be known. One happy note is that Luffy is way out of the Marines or even the World Government’s league. All three ancient weapons will probably jump out to save Luffy if the Marines ever actually wanted their painful death.
