A Glimpse Of Damon Thomas
Damon Thomas, now 51, is a music producer and CEO of Thomas Krone Records. He gained fame working alongside Harvey Mason Jr. as ‘The Underdogs’ in 1999. Together they wrote and produced R&B songs such as ‘Never Gonna Let You Go‘, ‘These Are The Times’, and ‘Most Girls’.
In 2014, ‘The Underdogs’ produced music for ‘Get On Up’, a biographical film on the life of the singer, James Brown. Damon has worked with famous singers such as Lionel Richie, Justin Timberlake, Victoria Beckham, Fantasia, Chris Brown and many more. Thomas has been nominated once for the Golden Globes and twice for the Grammys.
Damon’s Response On Kim’s “Ecstasy” Comment
In the 2018 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed that she was under the influence of the party drug during the Vegas nuptials. Damon on talking with djVlad, said, “I don’t remember that at all.”
Disappointed, he further added, “I think it’s unfair to make those kind of blanket statements because we have kids now, you know? I have children. My kid goes to the same school her kid goes to. So imagine him when he has to deal with that at school”.
Damon explained Kim wasn’t on talking terms with her mother, Kris Jenner at the time. “But you don’t stay married to somebody or be with somebody for four to five years and it’s just based off you getting high off of ecstasy, you know what I mean?” said the CEO of Thomas Krone Records.
