Kevin Costner And His Wife Christine Call It Quits
Christine Baumgartner, the wife of actor Kevin Costner, filed for divorce on Monday. According to a TMZ report, Christine (who is a designer by profession) cited “irreconcilable differences” as a reason to end their 18-year-long marriage.
On September 25, 2004, Costner and the former model tied the knot at the actor’s ranch in Aspen, Colorado. The couple shares three children together, sons Cayden and Hayes born in 2007 and 2009 respectively and a daughter Grace born in 2010.
The two started dating in 1999 right after the ‘Yellowstone‘ actor broke up with Bridget Rooney. With Rooney, he also shares a son. In 2003, Costner and Christine went through a brief breakup as they reconciled the following year.

Baumgartner Has Asked For Joint Custody Of Their Kids
In her divorce filing, Baumgartner has asked for joint custody of their three children. But she has not asked for spousal support. “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action,” a representative of Costner said.
They added, “We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.” Costner has also asked for joint custody of all his children.
He was previously married to Cindy Silva who was his fellow student in college. They were together between 1975 to 1994 and share three children, two daughters, and a son. Apart from these, he has also dated political activist Birgit Cunningham and model Elle Macpherson.
