Hugh Jackman Begs The Academy To Not Nominate Ryan Reynolds
Jackman will be reuniting with his ‘Wolverine‘ co-star Ryan Reynolds in the third installment of ‘Deadpool.’ However, the two share a very funny relationship with each other.
The song titled ‘Good Afternoon‘ from Ryan’s Christmas movie ‘Spirited‘ has been nominated for Best Song at the Oscars. Jackman is now begging the Academy to not further boost his ego.
In a video shared on Twitter, the Australian actor said, “Ryan Reynolds getting a nomination in the best song category would make the next year of my life insufferable,” he said jokingly. “I have to spend a year with him shooting Wolverine and Deadpool. Trust me, it would be impossible. It would be a problem.”

The actor then praised the film and said he enjoyed it with his family and “laughed the entire way through.” “It is absolutely brilliant.”

Jackman To Return As Wolverine In ‘Deadpool 3’
Jackman retired from the role of Wolverine in 2017 after his character dies in ‘Logan.’ However, he has changed his mind and will be back in ‘Deadpool 3.’
In September 2022, Reynolds shared a video on Twitter to announce the news. In it, the Canadian actor talks about preparing for the film. Toward the end, he asks Hugh if he wants to play Wolverine again. Jackman answers, “Sure, Ryan.”
‘Deadpool 3‘ is slated to release on September 6, 2024. Reynolds first played Deadpool in the 2009 film ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’, starring Jackman. The film met with mixed reviews.
