Loman was addicted to drugs and was pale and weak. Her face was shallow and mirrored a skeleton. The sheriff had forgotten to mention that the girl was also suffering from Scleroderma, bone cancer, and Lupus.

Before the viral image, Loman said that she intended to use drugs until her death. “I didn’t want to wake up. I lost all my hair, it got really bad. I lost my kids. I was homeless. I was at rock bottom,” she said.
She tried pursuing treatment but could not afford it as she was jobless because of her addiction. Later on, she joined a treatment center which helped her in her recovery. Since then, she has become a spiritual person.
