Thor has always been Marvel’s most popular character and in 2011 Chris Hemsworth immortalized the character. Over the years the Son of Odin has found himself up against many dangerous and terrible foes. From Lokie, Malekith, Hela, and Thanos to Gorr the God Butcher, Thor has locked horns with the live-action universe.
However, these are only a handful of these villains that have been made onscreen. Here are the ten villains that have yet to lock horns with Thor on the big screen.

10. Mongoose
Debuted in The Amazing Spider-Man #283, Mongoose was tasked with killing Thor, but would hardly match the fighting abilities of the Son of Odin. However, Mongoose has proven to be a formidable enemy that has the potential to make an appearance in the MCU.
9. Absorbing Man
As the name suggests, the Absorbing man transforms himself into any material he touches, featured in the earlier Thor comics. Though the character has appeared in Marvel’s ‘Agents of SHIELD’, he has yet to make an appearance in the MCU where he could very well face off against the Asgardian.
8. Minotaur
Minotaur possesses superhuman strength and durability, and would potentially serve as a tough antagonist for Thor. Fans expected Minotaur to make an appearance in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, as the film introduced Hercules in the mid-credits scenes.
The film could have made a perfect stage to introduce the Greek God. Minotaur is also a lead member of the Dark Council, who planned to conquer the Ten Realms of Agard.
7. Enchantress
She is Asgard’s one of the most powerful sorcerers, who proves herself as an equal opponent to Thor. In the comics, she is introduced as his loyal lover, who in her power would go to extreme behaviors to prevent Thor from being with anyone else.
It would be fun and erratic to witness his duo on the big screen. Despite being in love, she posed as Thor’s villain but has also teamed up with him on multiple occasions
6. Ragnarok
Marvel fans have witnessed Captain America fighting his variant, now it’s time for Thor to fight his version. Rangnorak is not the same as Marvel’s ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. A cyborg clone of Thor was created using the Son of Odin’s DNA, hence creating a villain with the powers same as Thor. It would be a delight watching Thor face himself to save Asgard.

5. Perrikus
Perrikus is a member of the Dark Gods, known to be the evil opposite of Asgardians. In the comics, Perrikus once led the Dark Gods into Asgard, where they pushed Odin, Thor, and the Asgardians to their very limit. Other than Hela, Perrikus was also able to destroy Mjolnir with ease. Perrikus would be Marvel’s most powerful god and Thor’s vicious enemy.
4. Ulik
When compared with the other Thor’s enemies, Ulik is the smartest of all as he possesses an impressive set of powers. Ulik is the most powerful member of the species known as Rock Trolls and is essentially invulnerable to conventional forms of attack due to his thick hide.
Despite being a relatively straightforward villain, Ulik’s burning desire to defeat Thor has seen him defeat the God of Thunder on several occasions, thus making him a particularly dangerous villain who has yet to appear in the MCU.
3. Mangog
When it comes to Thor villains, few possess the level of power of Mangog. The physical embodiment of an entire race killed by the Asgardians, explains Mangog’s explicent hatred for Thor. He’s able to channel the strength of an entire race and is also capable of withstanding Thor’s strongest and most brutal attacks.
In the comics, Mangog has vanquished practically every Asgardian there is at some point or another, making him one of Thor’s most deadly adversaries and an excellent contender for a future MCU villain.
2. The Midgard Serpent
The Midgard Serpent, also known as Jormungand from Norse mythology serves as one of Thor’s most powerful enemies. The son of Loki, the Midgard Serpent, possesses poisonous fangs capable of killing Asgardians.
Though his largest role to play would have likely been in Thor: Ragnarok’s story, there are still several narrative opportunities for the MCU’s Thor to face off against the incredibly powerful being. But his absence in Marvel’s ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, means that there is an opportunity for The Midgard Serpent to make an MCU appearance.
1. Galactus
Galactus is not just a Thor villain, but he’s one of the MCU’s most rugged entities. Galactus and Thor have faced off on numerous occasions, many of which saw the Devourer of Worlds emerge victorious.
Of course, Galactus would be better served as an Avengers-level threat within the MCU, but he’s still a villain with whom Thor has a history and who has yet to appear within the franchise.
