Dakota Johnson Addresses The Challenges Of Shooting ‘Madame Web’
While the film was not received positively by the critics, the actress faced a huge challenge while filming ‘Madame Web’, as her character was able to see the future, meaning that she had to shoot multiple versions of the same scene, but with only minute changes. Dakota Johnson felt that this process was rather exhausting and time-consuming, getting lost trying to keep in mind what scene they were shooting.
The ‘Persuasion’ actress explained the process saying, “It added so many different camera set-ups, like triple the amount of work. And it was very complex, and there’s only like minor differences between each version of the same scene, so it was like puzzle pieces, and really paying attention to what moment we’re in, and what angle we’re in, and continuity and things like that.” However, she is glad that SJ Clarkson, the director of the film had her back and guided her throughout the process.
