It’s official, well in a shady way. Nevertheless, our favorite cast is to make a comeback with the overhaul of the previously filmed ‘Daredevil: Born Again’.
We are sure to see a lot of familiar faces even with the reboot. Yes, our nerdy amiable Foggy Nelson and jaded, sharp Karen Page will be just as we first encountered and came to love them.

The Trio Is Back
A lot has changed in Disney’s production of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ and for the good. The whole series had its creative team switched. Dario Scardapane, who has written and produced Netflix’s Marvel series “The Punisher,” will be the showrunner.
The directors of major Marvel hits like ‘Moon Knight’ and ‘Loki Season 2’ have also been added to the creative team. The fan response to this was highly positive as it gave the assurance that Daredevil’s new show won’t disappoint.
The overhaul however also meant that there might be some cast faces we might now witness. But rest assured, a leaked video of the shooting at least gives us peace of mind as Elden Henson will play Foggy and so will Deborah Ann Woll will return as Karen Page. Beloved Charlie Cox will also continue to play his iconic role as Matt Murdock.

Now, that we are done with good news, here’s the bad one. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Karen Page might not make appearances as often. The insider tip says that she will star in the first three episodes and will decrease her appearance frequency quite significantly in the latter ones.
This could also affect the plot as we know it, but well that was to be expected since it’s a reboot. Daniel Richtman has been known to give leaks that perform fairly true but he has had a few misses as well, we can just hope it’s a miss on this one. Fingers crossed.

What To Expect From This Reboot of ‘Daredevil’?
As announced previously, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is not a continuation of the Netflix series that ran from 2015 to 2018 but rather a reboot of the show (the title is Born Again for a reason you know). This version of the series has also been confirmed to be a R-rated one so we can expect more bloody and gory scenes which the previous version couldn’t deliver.
The previous season which had been shot of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ had been about Wilson Fisk alias Kingpin and Matt Murdock cooperating in their own twisted ways for a common cause until things start to shatter given their past history.
The format had been criticized to have focused overtly on Daredevil’s daytime legal job which gave the show the feels of some nitty-gritty law form soap vibes rather than an action-thriller. The creative overhaul was done keeping this exact factor in mind. So, while elements from the already shooter first season may remain, the overall season will be way better and Marvel-like.
