According to a new leaked script, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 3 may be about to end with an emotional and brutal finale. The rumored plot has Matt Murdock‘s role as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen potentially coming to an end, but not without a number of characters experiencing some tragic endings.
Luke Cage Becomes Mayor As Bullseye Targets Matt Murdock’s Allies
According to the alleged leak, Luke Cage takes a major step into politics by becoming the Mayor of New York. His new job is said to give him the power to grant Matt Murdock his freedom, as he is the one who put him behind bars. But Matt’s release is said to be a much bloodier one.

Bullseye breaks him out of prison, leading to a series of events that may leave fans in tears. The assassin is rumored to have murdered Elektra before trying to kill Luke Cage’s daughter, upping the ante for the heroes.
Additionally, the storyline includes Buck and Lady Muse forming a romantic connection. Sadly, that relationship turns out to be a tragedy when Buck kills her. This would be another unsettling twist in a season that seems set to test its characters to their breaking point.
Matt Murdock’s Happy Ending May Be A Big Surprise
The most interesting part of the purported script leak is the ending. Following all of his tribulations, Matt is said to be retiring from Daredevil’s dangerous existence. He then reunites with Karen Page, seemingly bringing their complicated relationship to a satisfying conclusion.

But Marvel may not be done surprising viewers just yet. The alleged finale ends with Matt hearing a second heartbeat coming from Karen, revealing that she is pregnant. This would be a major milestone for a character that has been defined by loss, sacrifice, and an almost constant sense of responsibility.
Instead of a tragedy, the story could provide Matt with something he’s never been given to enjoy: a normal family life. As for the ending, of course, until Marvel confirms the reported script, it’s speculation. However, a retirement and perhaps a family would be a very interesting end to Matt Murdock’s tale.
