‘Deadpool 3‘ is Marvel’s most anticipated project for numerous reasons. The first is, that Hugh Jackman will reprise his iconic role almost after seven years and the second is, that the film will mark the official entry of X-Men into the MCU.
2023 was not kind to Marvel, especially with its failed VFX, and projects like ‘She-Hulk: Attorney At Law‘, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘, and ‘The Marvels‘. But with ‘Deadpool 3‘, Marvel shall finally find its redemption. That’s the hope even X-Men director Matthew Vaughn holds.

Matthew Vaughn Believes ‘Deadpool 3′ Will Restore MCU’s Glory
The ‘X-Men‘ director Matthew Vaughn has assured the fans that ‘Deadpool 3’ will bring back the old MCU magic and will also save the franchise from poor box office collections. In an interview with BroBible, Vaughn said, “The few snippets that I know about Deadpool vs. Wolverine — or Wolverine vs. Deadpool, I’m sure that argument between Ryan and Hugh is happening as we speak — are unbelievable. That’s going to be the jolt… the Marvel universe is about to have a jolt of them and it’s going to bring that body back to life… I think Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are about to save the whole Marvel universe.”
The director further said that ‘Deadpool 3’ will create a starting point for Marvel Studios’ future ‘X-Men’ movies. He added, “I’m a genuine fan of the X-Men, all I want is for the movies to be as good as they should be.”

‘Deadpool 3’ Synopsis And Expectations
Up until the end of production, the plot of ‘Deadpool 3’ was kept under wraps. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman announced the wrap of the film on their respective Instagram handles. The fans couldn’t handle the excitement of Jackman’s return to his iconic role, and adding fuel to it is the fact that the film will officially bring the foul-mouthed Merc With A Mouth into the Disney-owned Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. X-Men and Deadpool, both were previously owned by Fox.
Although it is rumored that ‘Deadpool 3’ is set before the events of ‘Logan‘, an official synopsis has been revealed on Marvel’s Japanese website. According to it, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is poised to change the course of MCU history, with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine accompanying him. The translated summary states, “The irresponsible hero Deadpool will change the history of the MCU with Wolverine!?”. ‘Deadpool 3’ is set to hit the big screens on July 26, 2024.
