Marvel’s street-level heroes could have another chance to shine, and Finn Jones already knows which characters he wants leading the charge. The Iron Fist star has expressed interest in reuniting with Mike Colter for a Heroes for Hire series, believing that the conclusion of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ could create room for a different kind of Marvel project.

Although fans shouldn’t take his comments as confirmation of a new show, Jones’ idea offers an exciting possibility for viewers who have wanted to see Marvel revisit its Netflix-era characters. Importantly, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has not been officially cancelled.

The series is set to conclude with its third season, making its future an interesting question as the current chapter approaches its end. On the possibility of a new project, Jones suggested that moving away from Daredevil could let Marvel explore stories featuring several familiar heroes.

Jones was particularly enthusiastic about bringing Iron Fist and Luke Cage back together. “I personally, I would love to see Heroes for Hire. Just gonna pitch that right now,” the actor said, adding that he loves working with Colter.

In Marvel Comics, Heroes for Hire is closely associated with the partnership between Luke Cage and Danny Rand. Cage brings superhuman strength and durability, while Rand combines martial arts expertise with the power of the Iron Fist.

The pair previously shared the screen in Marvel’s Netflix shows, but their partnership never received a dedicated series of its own. A new show could finally explore their crime-fighting partnership in greater depth while offering a different tone from the darker, more grounded stories surrounding Daredevil.

Jones also suggested that the end of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ could open the door to a broader series featuring the former Defenders. The original Netflix lineup brought together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Although their team-up series lasted just one season, the characters have continued to attract interest from fans hoping for another crossover.

Jones acknowledged that audience demand would be crucial. “If the eyeballs are there, then the stories get told.” For now, neither a Heroes for Hire series nor a new Defenders project has been officially announced.

However, with ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ approaching its planned conclusion, Marvel has an opportunity to explore other corners of its street-level universe. Jones has made his preference clear: he wants another chance to team up with Colter.
