As ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ makes its way to the theatres, the team of talented creators and actors are discussing the inner workings of the movie. The two leading actors, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, are opening up about their greatly adored bromance as part of the film.
The early reviews of the film have largely credited the chemistry between the actors as an outstanding aspect. However, there’s seemingly another actor who Ryan Reynolds would have loved to share the screen with, as revealed by the ‘Deadpool‘ star himself. Here’s what he said.

Jordan Peele Was Offered A Role In ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’
During a recent interview with ‘Screen Rant‘ alongside Hugh Jackman and Director Shawn Levy, Ryan Reynolds revealed how Oscar-winning horror director Jordan Peele was contacted about a position in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, but it did not work out.
Reynolds was asked about which actors they’d like to team up with in the future for MCU when he mentioned Peele’s missed opportunity. “I have one – he couldn’t do it, one of the first people that were offered a role we were trying to work with desperately was Jordan Peele,” he said.
“But we are such enormous fans of his, everything he does, I think he’s just one of the great underrated performers as well. Obviously, he’s busy building a gigantic empire as a director and creator, but he’s somebody that I still, to this day, would love to find some way to team up with. I don’t even care what he would play, but I would love to work with him,” he added.
Ryan then proceeded to joke about how he would love to play Hulk in the future. “I would love, no disrespect to Ruffalo, I’d love to play Hulk. It sounds like a pretty good gig,” the actor said.

What Projects Has Jordan Peele Been A Part Of?
Being an American actor, comedian, writer, and filmmaker, Jordan Peele has been recognized for his work across various fields in the movie business. Famously known for his duo sketch group ‘Key & Peele‘ with Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele is also an acclaimed director and filmmaker.
Peele’s debut feature picture, ‘Get Out‘, received high praise from critics and was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Picture. He also won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for the movie.
When his second movie, ‘Us’ released in March 2019, it became the greatest opening for an R-rated original picture in history, shattering multiple box office records.
