The excitement for the third Deadpool film has increased due to the casting of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Jackman has portrayed the role ever since the beginning of the X-Men film series in 2000 and he made his final appearance in ‘Logan’, released in 2017. The producers of ‘Deadpool 3’ are trying not to reveal a lot of details about the upcoming sequel until the release date approaches closer. But certain sources have been leaking something from the sets of the film.
While Hugh Jackman’s appearance as Wolverine has been confirmed, reports came out that he will be wearing his classic X-Men costume along with the mask from the comics. The suit remains the same as it has been shown in the comics except that sleeves are being added. The pictures were shared by the movie’s team on Twitter.
The X-Men films have always avoided showing the characters in their original form like the comics. Bryan Singer, who helmed a majority of the X-Men films, always opted for the dark leather attire, believing that the colorful costumes might not look so good for a live-action film.

‘Deadpool 3’ Will Be A Part Of The MCU Franchise
‘Deadpool 3’ will be the 34th film in the MCU and Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Wade Wilson. The rest of the characters would be portrayed by Hugh Jackman, Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Brianna Hildebrand, Sholi Kutsuna, Stefan Kapicic, and Jennifer Garner.
The film is being helmed by Shawn Levy who also serves as the writer alongside Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, and Reynolds himself. Filming for the sequel started in May 2023 and it is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2024.
