Sophia Di Martino, who plays Sylvie’s character on the show ‘Loki’, has revealed her wish to work alongside Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor. The actress was last seen next to Tom Hiddleston in ‘Loki’ season 2. Though the next season of the is not confirmed yet, Sophia has other plans for her future as part of the MCU.
In an interview with Variety, Sophia explained that she thinks Sylvie and Thor together would be ‘fun’ to watch. “I think it would be great to see Sylvie and Thor. I think it would be fun to see them get wound up, especially if Loki is in the equation. Three siblings together? The dynamic would be interesting,” she said.
Sylvie is a variant of Loki from an alternate timeline, and shares a complex dynamic with Tom Hiddleston’s lead character throughout the series. On the show, the two embark on several journeys that explore themes of identity, self-discovery, and the nature of free will.
The Loki universe is very close to Thor’s, and fans adore the two siblings together. So Sophia wanting her character Sylvie to star next to the God of Thunder isn’t all that strange. Moreover, Sylvie is very much like Loki so her and Thor’s dynamic could be pretty exciting.
Sophia Di Martino Is Happy With Loki Season 2’s Ending
In the same Variety interview, the actress was asked about whether or not fans can expect ‘Loki’ Season 3. Martino explained that whether the show got renewed or not she was happy with the ending it had.
“I’m open to more. But honestly, I think the finale was great and if that’s it, I’m very grateful for what we’ve had. But they don’t say anything. The veil of secrecy extends to us, too,” she said.
The actress did not reveal any further details about the next season as Marvel is very secretive about its projects. However, with the great ratings the show had, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the next season for the show gets finalized.
