Since the release of its first trailer, fans have set high expectations for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3’. This film will be the third and last installment of the space family after their cameo appearances in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special’. Written and directed by James Gunn, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3‘ is his passion project as it is his last MCU film before joining DCU.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3‘ will focus on the mysterious backstory of Rockett Racoon and his terrifying past who is all set for his Marvel debut. Like every Guardian movie, even the last installment incorporates heavy comedy and emotions along with rock and roll. Also, Gamora and Star-Lord might share quite a screen time with their goofy romance. Though ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3’ will introduce two new characters, it will also kill more than one major character.

Adam Warlock
Adam Warlock’s appearance was teased into MCU in the 2017’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2’. Meanwhile, the trailer of the third installment will place Warlock in a pivotal role as well his powers will be explored. Adam Warlock will be played by The Maze Runner star Will Poulter. At first, the MCU fans were skeptical about his fit in MCU, but Poulter might just be a perfect fit for the role of Adam Warlock.
Unlike other Marvel characters, Adam Warlock has a completely different history and background. Created by a group of scientists, Adam Warlock calls himself the cosmic sorcerer. He uses the energy to merge different multiversal timelines and realities. Out of all the hosts the Soul Stone has bonded with, it is stated that Adam Warlock was the most powerful of all.
Warlock’s perception travels far beyond the basic five senses of humanity. It is not surprising that Warlock can even resist the Time Stone’s time-freezing capabilities. In the comic he is usually seen as the guardian of the soul stone, but due to the events of Avengers: Endgame. the soul stone was destroyed hence, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3’ might place him in a different role.

High Evolutionary
With the 1960s appearance in comic books, High Evolutionary is all set to make his MCU debut in ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3’. Played by Chukwudi Iwuji, High Evolutionary is a scientist specializing in genetic engineering. The third installment revealed that he is the one who created Rocket Racoon, hence High Evolutionary’s appearance might be a nightmare for him along with the Guardian of the Galaxy family.
High Evolutionary will be introduced as the villain in phase five of MCU. The mad scientist’s origin has been altered just like Adam Warlock. The villain created a replica of Earth on the other side of the sun, named Counter-Earth, which he populated with his New Men and will also be appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Also if Rockett Roccon is created by High Evolutionaory, then it makes Rockett Racoon his New Man, hence forced to serve his master.
