These characters are some of the most influential characters in the history of X-Men. Cyclops and Jean Grey have been a constant emotional support for the team for a long time, and Storm is one of Marvel’s most powerful and respected heroes.
Rogue brings a unique set of abilities and personal struggles, and Emma Frost’s complicated history as both ally and rival could add another layer of intrigue. Professor X and Magneto have always been two visions for mutantkind.
They have been at odds ideologically since the beginning of the X-Men franchise in comics, animation, and live-action movies. So, it almost feels like they need to be there for a new start in the movies.

This indicates that the reboot is one of the most important things the franchise will be focused on. “I can’t wait for all of you to see Avengers: Doomsday. We have a movie after that called Avengers: Secret Wars, and after that the mutants are coming, and the X-Men are coming, and that’s been a dream of mine,” he shared.
He also revealed that he had always wanted to introduce a new take on the X-Men into the MCU, since his superhero film journey began with the X-Men movies. Those comments have only added to the hype surrounding Marvel’s reboot.
If the latest character rumors prove accurate, fans may finally be getting a glimpse at the core team that will launch the X-Men into the MCU after the Multiverse Saga comes to an end.
