The cast and characters for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ are still being speculated on, even with the movie being just a few weeks away. Although Marvel Studios has not officially announced its roster of villains for the next Spider-Man movie, it is clear that the film will feature more than just one villain.
Instead of focusing on a single, all-encompassing danger, ‘Brand New Day’ could be about street crime, personal betrayals, and bigger MCU battles, all in one.
Spider-Man Has A Threat Around Every Corner

At the top of the rumored hierarchy is Keith David’s mysterious character, who has been linked to either the Jackal or a new version of the Lizard. Both options would give Spider-Man a menacing mastermind who could be a major instigator of much of the film’s action.

The still-unnamed character of Bill Metzger and Sadie Sink is also expected to be a big part. An interesting idea is that Sink’s character might be a villain at the start of the story. How, she then redeems herself in the end, giving it a more emotional twist than the typical hero versus villain plot.
The back-up threats are Tombstone, one of Spider-Man’s most feared crime lords, and Bruce Banner’s Hulk, who will be a hindrance once he is manipulated or enraged. There have been some fan theories that it could be a Gray Hulk twist. However, that hasn’t been confirmed.
‘Brand New Day’ Villains Hint At Peter Parker’s Toughest Fight Yet

The rumored lineup doesn’t end there. Reports also point to the Punisher clashing with Spider-Man before potentially becoming an ally, continuing Marvel’s trend of heroes initially ending up on opposite sides. In the meantime, Scorpion might make Peter’s already impossible mission even more difficult.

Others on the rumored list include classic comic book villains Boomerang, Tarantula, and Ramrod. Though they may only be there for a fleeting moment, they could help bring New York to life and remind people that Spider-Man never has a quiet day. If any of these reports are accurate, then Peter Parker could be up for his most hectic and potentially perilous mission yet.
