After Captain America, Steve Rogers hanged his shield, he passed the torch to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson. Fans got to see him as Captain America in the 2021’s ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’.
Since Sam Wilson will be holding the shield, Marvel will be introducing a new falcon from the comics, Joaquin Torres. He will be teaming up with the new Captain America in the new ‘Captain America: Brave New World.’
Take A First Look At Joaquin Torres’ Falcon Suit In ‘Captain America: Brave New World’
In the new McDonald’s ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ promotion ad, fans finally got to see the first look of Joaquin Torres’ Falcon suit. The wings of the suit look similar to fans. That’s because these are the same wings that Anthony Mackie’s Falcon had.
After fighting US Agent, he gave the wings to Torres in episode 5 of ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.’ In addition to that, the body suit features a green and grey color scheme with a black helmet. It is quite different from the previous Falcon’s suit. In the comics, Torres had a quite different suit than this, however, the color scheme is similar.
Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres Set To Succeed Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson As The New Falcon
Danny Ramirez will be making his second appearance in the MCU. This time his role will be bigger than what fans saw in ‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.’ During an interview with Screen Rant, Danny Ramirez was asked about Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson leaving his Falcon wings for Joaquin Torres. He said,
“Yeah, the repair – for whoever it may be. I think he is pretty good at repairing things, for sure. He knows his way around the tech, so I think he won’t have too much trouble repairing whatever he has to repair in whatever condition they’re in. I think he’ll have a good time with it. He’ll have a good time with it.”
In addition to Joaquin Torres as Falcon, Winter Soldier, Red Hulk, and Sharon Carter are some of the superheroes who will join the new Captain America. ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is set to release on February 14, 2025. It will be the next movie in MCU Phase 5 after ‘Deadpool And Wolverine.’
