New alleged ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ details are circulating online, and if even some of these claims are accurate, Marvel’s next big crossover could end on a much darker note than fans expect.
Doom Destroys Steve Rogers’ Timeline Alongside Bucky And His Son
The leak states that the final battle of the film will be held in Latveria, where the survivors of the multiverse will unite to fight against Doctor Doom and his army of Doombots. There’s also speculation that Deadpool will be accompanied by a cast of some of Marvel’s most unpredictable characters, including Holland’s Spider-Man.

One of the more bizarre features is that there’s a Hulk variant of Doom that eventually battles Ben Grimm, aka The Thing. That’s just one battle that could be the kind of brawl that fans would want to see in a multiverse Avengers film. But the supposed story goes on in the other direction.
The leak also states that Doom has killed Bucky Barnes and destroyed the alternate timeline that was created by Steve Rogers when he returned the Infinity Stones in ‘Endgame’. Even more brutally, Steve’s son from that timeline is reportedly killed as well. As the last Incursion nears, Wong is allegedly creating a huge magical shield around Earth.
Sentry tries to prevent the crash, and Deadpool’s crew sneaks into Doom’s castle. Sadly, it wasn’t sufficient. Doom always comes out on top. The conclusion is said to be centered on some of the heroes’ last moments in their universe and them realizing that they may have nothing left to do.
Wolverine And Spider-Man May Live!
The alleged post-credits scene provides one major ray of hope. The leak states that Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) and Wolverine are still alive after Doom rewrote reality. That would be a big hint as to how Marvel plans to move from ‘Doomsday’ to ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’.

The same rumour also suggests that Elizabeth Olsen, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner have been involved in reshoots, but there is no official confirmation yet. This should definitely be considered a rumour and not plot information for now. However, if Marvel does let Doom win in ‘Doomsday’, things could get even more emotionally devastating for the MCU.
