Patrick Stewart To Return As Professor X In ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ As Fans Gear Up For X-Men Finally Joining MCU

Good news for X-Men fans! Sir Patrick Stewart will reprise his iconic role as Professor Charles Xavier in the upcoming Deadpool And Wolverinemovie. This is a cause for celebration!

Also, the comeback of Professor X alongside Deadpool and the grumpy Wolverine will be a blast (and hilarious). So, let’s take a closer look at what this casting is going to mean for the X-Men in the MCU.

Professor X’s return is a delightful surprise, considering his seemingly permanent departure in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’ But again, that is what the multiverse is all about, right? Anything is possible!

Moreover, it can be another version of another reality where Charles Xavier is still alive and leading his X-Men team. The prospects are endless and that is why this return is such a big deal, as reported by Deadline.

Bringing back Patrick Stewart also fuels speculation about the larger plans for the X-Men within the MCU. Moreover, Marvel Studios has been tight-lipped about their mutant plans. However, Professor X’s presence in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ could be a major turning point.

Is this a one-off cameo or something completely new? Only Kevin Feige knows. However, the return of Professor X is a loud statement that the X-Men are coming to the MCU in a huge way.

The relationship between Professor X, the calm and collected X-Men head and Deadpool is comic book gold. How Professor X would attempt to keep Deadpool in check, would be quite amusing and hilarious. Then there is the angry and bitter Wolverine with a soft interior (and sometimes exterior as well).

Moreover, his interaction with Professor X has always been rather strained, although Wolverine has always wanted to respect Charles. Throw Deadpool into the mix, and you’ve got a recipe for some truly interesting interactions. But hey, is it not what a great superhero team is all about?

Despite their differences, Professor X, Deadpool, and Wolverine all share a common goal: saving the world (well, maybe not Deadpool so much on the “protecting” part). Additionally, their contrasting personalities could lead to some epic battles and hilarious banter. As for Patrick Stewart returning as Professor X, Deadpool & Wolverine just got a whole lot more interesting.
