MCU has been struggling for some time like the DCEU. The beginning of Phase Five has not been good as per expectations but the producers are attempting to bring the best out of the franchise. While a few projects are on the way in the next few years, there is one that has grabbed the spotlight – ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ has been a topic of discussion for MCU fans due to the things that it has teased following the release of the trailers.
While all the characters are popular, there is one character named Starhawk, portrayed by Sylvester Stallone, who has also accumulated an equal fanbase among the audience.

Stakar Ogord Is An Important Character In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’
Just like every other character in the comic books, Starhawk also has his own story. His life started as someone who was left behind on the planet Arcturus as a baby. The baby was found by a few mutants but they were killed by a group of Arcturian Reavers.
As the baby was not a mutant, a commander known as Ogord decided to look after him. Starhawk grew up with a sister and he soon learned about his origins when he became an adult. He got some powers from the Hawk God alongside his sister but they had to share a single body to use the powers.
The duo separated in a few years and Starhawk learned from Hawk God that his real parents were an important part of the universe. He learns that he was the son of Quasar and Kismet and he was stolen from his parents by someone who was planning something bad.

Starhawk In The MCU Explained
It must be noted that MCU tries to bring changes while adapting a story to the big screen. James Gunn has been an expert in this process and Sylvester Stallone’s cameo role as Starhawk is initially ignored until he is mentioned by Yondu’s boss Ravager in the movie’s novelization.
Stallone swapped genders in the film with Michelle Yeoh playing his other half. The novelization portrayed his character as an important part of the Ravagers who had several quarrels with Yondu.
