At the premiere of the first-ever D23 Brazil fan event, Marvel Studios electrified the fans with the latest trailer of ‘Captain America: Brave New World‘. As a star-studded appearance, Anthony Mackie, aka Sam Wilson/Captain America, and Danny Ramirez aka Joaquin Torres/Falcon breezed in to greet an energetic crowd before releasing the trailer.
As directed by the new writers Anthony and Joe Russo, it looks like Captain America will be continuing his journey with Sam Wilson, who inherited the shield from Steve Rogers during the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame‘. The trailer is filled with some serious action-packed enforcers for Sam to face as the new Cap. However, what steals the show is the appearance of the Red Hulk.
How Red Hulk’s Presence In The Film Will Affect Its Narrative?
The latest trailer of ‘Captain America: Brave New World‘ shows the White House under attack, and U.S. President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross attempts to lure Sam in with a morally ambiguous offer, played by Harrison Ford.
Returning to the fan-favorite list are Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, along with Tim Blake Nelson reprising his role as the Leader. The cherry on the cake is Shira Haas as Sabra, Israel’s first superhero in the MCU, as well as Giancarlo Esposito as the more sinister Sidewinder.
But one of the most intriguing things teased within the trailer is Ross’ transformation into the Red Hulk, which is a storyline ripped right from the Marvel comics. It would be interesting to see how this plot shapes the narrative of the film.
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ With Sam Wilson Promises To Be A Thrilling Political Ride
The last time viewers saw Sam Wilson put on the Captain America suit was in the Disney+ series ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier‘, which was widely praised and earned five Emmy nominations. ‘Captain America: Brave New World‘ will have Sam working through his new reality and having to make some tough decisions about who he is as a hero and possibly an agent.
