What Does The Witches Road Mean In Marvel?
In the Marvel comics as well as the series, Agatha is believed to have survived the Salem Witch Trials, thus considered a relevant match for Scarlet Witch. However, during the finale of ‘Wanda Vision’, Scarlet Witch traps Agatha in Westview by using her powers to force Agatha to revert back to her Agnes persona.
Now in the spin-off series ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries‘, the viewers witness her walk down the Witches Road. It is a plane of existence that only sorcerers can tread, which was first introduced in the 2016 comic. In the book, Agatha guides Wanda through the Witches Road to find out why witchcraft is weakening. The goddess Witchcraft resides here and someone related to Wanda takes on the mantle of the goddess. It may also be an indication that Scarlet Witch might make an appearance as well.
