    Marvel studios recently released a trailer for ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘ which gives a glimpse of the new superhero in the universe. Stinger or Cassandra Lang, Scott Lang’s daughter, is finally entering the MCU.

    The trailer shows that the movie will feature the Ant-Family as they are stuck in the Quantum realm and try to find their way out. Cassandra will be an essential character in this film so read ahead to know all about her powers.

    Who Is Cassandra Lang Aka Stinger?

    Cassandra “Cassie” Lang is a fictional character who first appeared in ‘Premiere #47‘. In ‘Young Avengers #6′ she appeared as Stature and in ‘The Astonishing Ant-Man #6‘, she appeared as Stinger. After Cassandra’s father passes away, she runs away and tries to join The Avengers where she meets Kate Bishop and they both go to join the Young Avengers.

    During heated arguments, Cassie loses control and grows uncontrollably. Later she revealed that she had secretly been taking Pym particles for years. Stinger has been a Young Avengers ever since in spite of her literally dying and coming back to life(how do they normalize it again!!!).

    What Are Her Powers?

    In the comics, Cassic holds the power to control the body size. I know this sounds exactly like Ant-Man however, she can shrink and grow without the use of a suit. She does that by radiating her heart with controlled exposure to Pym particles. Cassie holds a lot of practice as she has done this for many years in secret.

    Although sometimes she is unable to control her size changes. The superhero also has the ability to fly because of the wings in her suit. So yes, her powers are pretty simple and similar to Ant-Man in the comics, let’s see the changes that MCU while putting the character on screen.
