‘Captain America: New World Order’ Will See Tim Blake Nelson’s Villain Character
Tim Blake Nelson will be playing The Leader. This villain character can be described as Hulk’s arch-nemesis since both of them have acquired their powers through gamma radiation and exposure, but there aren’t many reasons for them to be on opposite sides. The only difference between the two is that while Hulk grows stronger and physically magnanimous and unbeatable, the Leader becomes exponentially intelligent with his oversized head.
The possible storyline where the Leader can fit in is that he might go on a revenge spree against the military for his condition. Being betrayed by one of the US Military officer could be his trigger point for playing the villain, and he might go for ruining the reputation of America and the realities behind the military order. The Leader will also be a kind of villain that Sam Wilson will not see coming, which gives him an upper hand over Sam.

Marvel’s The Leader Has Appeared Before In A MCU Movie
Nelson has previously appeared in MCU’s ‘The Incredible Hulk (2008),’ as The Leader. Playing Dr. Samuel Sterns, he had a small but pivotal role in the movie. Nelson’s scene ends with Dr. Banner’s blood dripping into Sterns’s open wound on his head, signifying a transformation that will be different from the Hulk. The scene has laid down a crucial return of his character in MCU. It will also connect Phase 5 with Phase 1 which were MCU’s roots. The fans are also excited to know what the Leader has done for more than a decade.
