Marvel’s Dominions- The AI God
Dominions have the most complex creation stories, it is the greatest form of intelligence that can exist in Marvel’s Cosmic Universe. They are functionally omnipotent and omniscient and disconnected from time, meaning that they can’t be hurt or changed even by returning to the moment before they were created.
Dominions exist on the level of gods, with Powers of X stating they are indistinguishable from any mythic or religious comparisons. Dominions were created by AI tending to feed on the biological societies, consuming them, and adding relevant data. They exist across multiple universes and can seed realities in their territory. A Dominion is created when multiple Titans link up together, creating a sentient singularity.
Marvel’s Fiery God The Phoenix Force
The Phoenix Force is the embodiment of the cosmological concept of life itself. The first Phoenix host on Earth was a prehistoric woman known as Firehair aka Lady Phoenix, however, the Phoenix force later possessed Jean Grey, the Avengers’ Echo, and the sixteenth-century Iron Fist.
The Phoenix existed long before the creation of Earth and is p loathed by the alien society known as the Shi’ar, who has gone to tremendous lengths to destroy it, including murdering Jean Grey’s extended family.
In the comic Inferno #3, it was clear that Dominions feared the Phoenix. There is a way wherein X-Men beat the AI villains by forging a weapon imbued with the Phoenix Force’s power, allowing them to kill the AI Titans which created the Dominions.

The Devourer of Worlds Galactus
Galactus is a powerful being who consumes living worlds, earning the name the Devourer of Worlds. Although he isn’t truly evil, he is a vital part of the natural order. Galactus is not the first Devourer of Worlds, preceded by Omnimax. Every time the Marvel multiverse ends, a single survivor is gifted with godlike power.
Likewise, a human explorer Galan was gifted the powers, becoming Galactus. He maintains some measure of human conscience, which was safeguarded within his psyche by the Silver Surfer during a time-travel adventure with the Defenders. Galactus is an apex predator and has fought multiple Celestials, making it clear why a Dominion would fear him.
The Ultimate Form of Power The Universal Abstracts
Above all, The Universal Abstracts are the epitome of power in Marvel lore. Abstract entities are conceptual cosmic beings that do not have a physical form. Starting with the Living Tribunal, which serves the One Above All.
Below them are the four pillars of reality including Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Oblivion. After the original Living Tribunal died, Eternity and Infinity temporarily took charge until the new Living Tribunal appeared.
Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Oblivion are the strongest abstract entities. The Abstracts are far more powerful than Dominions, but since the Dominions are a result of the natural order, the Universal Abstracts don’t consider them a problem or an enemy.
