Anne Hathaway has shared a behind-the-scenes detail from ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2‘ that has quickly caught attention.
She revealed that she asked the makers to make a key scene more size-inclusive during filming, and the team acted on it almost immediately. As a result, the update has added a fresh layer to the buzz around the sequel.

While filming ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2‘, Anne Hathaway looked at one of the scenes and felt that something could be better. At that point, she noticed the kind of models being used and decided to speak up.

She said while talking to Variety, “We had beautiful models on set, and a lot of them were maybe the more traditionally modern model size.” Because of this, she started thinking about how the scene might feel to the audience.
So, she explained her idea clearly. She said, “I thought the scene would be so much more enjoyable for the audience if we had a wider range of bodies on display.” In addition, she made her belief clear by saying, “All different shapes are beautiful.”
After that, Hathaway went to the producers and shared her idea. She asked if the scene could include a wider range of sizes to better connect. The team understood her point right away. In fact, she said they “were so sad that they hadn’t thought about it.” Because of that realization, they quickly agreed with her.
Soon after, they acted on it. Hathaway shared, “As soon as they saw it, they were the ones who just made it happen in like an hour.” As a result, the change came together very quickly during filming.

Hathaway’s Attention to Detail Has Our Hearts Before Sequel Return

Anne Hathaway came clean some time ago as she admitted, “I realized today that I don’t actually know how to say the word ‘cerulean,” and then added, “So I looked it up by watching the scene.”
It’s a clear example of how much focus Hathaway is putting into all the details, and how much she cares about its impact. This remains one of the most remembered parts of the film.
