‘Barbie’ Receives Positive Reviews From Critics
‘Barbie’ was in development for a long time and it is common for such films to increase excitement among the audience. Moreover, it has been rated PG-13 by the MPAA to make it suitable for viewing for all age groups.
Meanwhile, the early reviews of the film have turned out to be positive. Katcy Stephan of Variety said that the film is perfect and commended director Greta Gerwig for providing a nuanced social commentary on being a woman.
Joseph Deckelmeier of ScreenRant said that the film is “funny, bombastic and smart” and that Gerwig has delivered a perfect hit. A few others have praised the performance of Ryan Gosling and have recommended that he must be nominated for an Oscar.

‘Barbie’ Storyline
‘Barbie’ is directed by Greta Gerwig and it was under development for a long time. However, the project was delayed because of multiple writer and director changes and filming eventually began in March 2022 in England. The film will release on July 21, 2023.
The main premise focuses on Barbie who is living in a different world and when she is expelled from the place, she embarks on a journey with Kent to explore the world outside. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling play the lead roles alongside America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell.
