The new ‘Black Panther 2’ merch acts as fodder for the hungry MCU fans. It features Namor, the mutant anti-hero whose design was already hinted at by the MCU. The action figure clearly shows the inspiration behind the character is from Mayan culture. According to the fans, he is the Marvel counterpart of the DC character Aquaman.

The design features tons of added intricate details hinting at the unique technology used by the Atlantean race living underwater. Now fans are confused about whether his character will appear in the first trailer or if the makers are planning to keep him a secret. The promotion of the character still remains a mystery to the fans.

The action figure is getting a mixed reaction from fans as they have changed the original look of Namor. One fan tweeted, “Fuck. Yes. Please let this not be the case. I grew up collecting comic books and finally I get to see them come to life. So upsetting. Marvel/Disney please stop with totally changing these main characters and storylines. Gorr (looking like an offspring of Lord Sidious), now this!
