Recently, Time magazine interviewed Christopher Nolan, where the director admired the beauty of smaller films like ‘Past Lives’. However, the ‘Oppenheimer’ filmmaker also revealed the reason why he feels the responsibility to mount magnum opuses with bigger casts and larger sets.
During the interview, Christopher Nolan said, “I’m drawn to working at a large scale because I know how fragile the opportunity to marshal those resources is.”
Christopher Nolan added, “I know that there are so many filmmakers out there in the world who would give their eye teeth to have the resources I put together, and I feel I have the responsibility to use them in the most productive and interesting way.”

‘Oppenheimer’ Is Leading The Oscars Nominations Race
The nominations for the 96th Academy Awards are out, and Christopher Nolan’s nuclear drama, ‘Oppenheimer’, has earned 13 nominations. During the summer of 2023, ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’ changed the dialogue around the commercial aspect of cinema as the films had a cultural reset.
