The success of ‘Fast X’ has led to the confirmation of several other projects in the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise. It must be noted that the announcement is nothing new as the franchise has already led to a lineup of spin-offs with ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ in 2019.
Meanwhile, the absence of Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs in ‘F9’ was spotted by everyone, and later confirmed that he won’t return to the franchise. Hobbs has now appeared in the mid-credits scene of ‘Fast X’ hinting towards his return in the upcoming projects.
Dwayne Johnson And Jason Momoa’s ‘Fast & Furious’ Movie Now Has Got A Title
Industry insider Daniel Richtman has revealed the working title for a new ‘Fast & Furious’ movie which will focus on Luke Hobbs and Dante Reyes. The working title of the movie is ‘Untitled Luke Hobbs and Dante Reyes.’
The film was confirmed at the beginning of this month and it came after the release of ‘Fast X.’ The mid-credits scene of the film revealed that Hobbs broke into a run-down church and he finds a phone ringing. While he picks up the phone, Reyes tells Hobbs that he is the next target as Hobbs shot dead Dante’s father in ‘Fast X.’
Other details of the film have not been disclosed so far but for now, it is confirmed that Chris Morgan will be the writer and producer of the project. Vin Diesel and Samantha would also join as the producers.

‘Hobbs & Shaw’ Spin-Off Update
It’s been a long time since ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ was released on the big screen. Although the box office collections were not up to the mark, a sequel has been in talks. Meanwhile, the appearance of Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw in ‘Fast X’ has hinted towards the possibility of a sequel.
While the producers are yet to confirm a sequel, the ending of ‘Fast X’ has speculated a bit about what might happen. In case Dante is not killed in ‘Fast & Furious 11’ or the standalone Luke Hobbs movie, he might play an important role in the sequel to ‘Hobbs & Shaw.’
